• Affordable housing is at risk—and so are the families who rely on it. Federal programs that help keep rent affordable—including the housing subsidies that nearly half of Addison Housing Works’ apartment residents depend on—are facing devastating cuts. Without these supports, families could lose their homes, and the entire system that sustains affordable housing in our region could begin to unravel. AHW is working every day to preserve housing stability—but we need your help.
• This crisis affects your workforce—now and in the future. Many local employers report struggling to recruit and retain talent due to a lack of affordable housing. But this isn’t just about hiring: a part-time employee earning $20/hour likely qualifies for—and may be receiving—a federal housing subsidy that’s now at risk. If these supports disappear, your employees could lose the housing that allows them to keep working and living in our community.
• This event will be huge! We are thrilled to announce that Scarlet Annie and the Individuals, will be performing at the event, which will be in a highly visible location on the Town Green in Bristol.
